The brief provided for a new Classroom and 2 New resource rooms,  to meet the current demand for places at the Crecora Primary School to be funded by the Department of Education and Skills.  It became clear during design development that a more beneficial outcome would result if the Main Entrance,  library and offices were redeveloped in a new entrance extension to replace the rather cramped existing arrangement, the vacated space being converted to provide the original brief accommodation which could be located close to the existing classrooms as preferred by the school.
