Martin joined Kevin Jackson Architects in 2013 when the company was established and has over 23 years experience in the delivery of Healthcare projects with particular emphasis on the detailed design and construction of projects through to completion and handover. He has worked on a wide range of large Healthcare projects including the new UHL Emergency and Renal Department, UHL Critical Care Unit, the Midland Regional Hospital at Tullamore, the Mid Western Regional Hospital Phase 1 & 2 which included the Children's Ark Project and the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire. Martin has developed a wealth of experience and technical knowledge in respect of a broad range of clinical functions including all of the standard departments one would expect in a modern acute hospital. Martin has considerable experience in the detailed design, equipment installation & commissioning of medical imaging suites such as X-Ray, CT Scans, Catheterisation Labs and Radiotherapy Suites with a specialism in radiological protection issues. Martin has also successfully delivered a number of high level clinical areas such as Operating Theatres, Intensive Care Units, Isolation Suites, CSSD & Laboratory Clean Rooms. His experience has covered a number of varied project procurement methods including New Government Form of Contracts, traditional GDLA contracts, Design Build, Management Contracts in Private Healthcare. He is a member of the Institute of Healthcare Engineers and Estate Managers, Architects for Health. and Martin has served previously on the RIAI Architectural Technology Committee and is currently on the RIAI Visiting Boards of Education to Third Level Architectural Technology Courses
